OMG...Miss Emerson, what a month you had! I will make a list of all my faves of the month.
1. You got two more teeth on the top (two more on the way) and you LOVE to show them off.
2. You weigh 25 pounds (off the chart) and you are 28 inches (70th %);therefore, your doc politely put you on a diet. Not because of your weight alone, but because the gap between your height and weight percentiles is increasing and we want those numbers to be comparable. Your brother was just as big as you except he was really long, so his numbers matched (he was always and still is off the charts in both categories). We have to cut back on your formula, one less bottle a day). You have only had to cheat twice...better than mommy.
3. We are really working with our sippy cup and water...you aren't too keen on either just yet.
5. You have this funny game that you invented where you squeal and try to hide from your daddy and Campbell when they say, "I'm gonna getcha!"
6. You LOVE to eat. You make noises like every bite is the best you have ever tasted. I love to watch you eat Puffs. You are a very voracious eater and sometimes one will get stuck on your lip and you will try to use your tongue to get it off...even if it takes you a couple minutes.
7. You rarely cry....when you wake up in the mornings or from a nap, you will play in your bed until I come get you. Who knows how long you have been awake?8. You are finally crawling. You got strong enough to carry around your weight. At first you looked like an inch worm, but it didn't take long for you to figure it out. Now you are all over the place...YIKES! Your favorite spot to crawl is to the ficus tree where you like to eat the moss stuff at the bottom of the plant.
9. You are rapidly growing out of your clothes, which is great for me because I can shop more for you, but bad for Daddy's wallet.
10. You are the best little princess in the world. You are happy and loving. You love your brother to pieces. He lets you play with all his toys, even his sacred firetrucks. The two of you could spend hours playing together...I know it wont last!We just love you so much Fatterhorn...You are such a blessing!

Dang pootie. I can't believe she's 9 months. Love her!
Oh Crystal! I just love the names you come up with for her. She is precious and I love the fat rolls. So cute!
Ha, ha, ha! I love the title of the post! Heffalump is one of my favorite things about Pooh! Emerson is so cute! I hope we get to see her again before too long. Best part about babies is the growing and the shopping to keep up! Kelsey was an off the chart baby, and pretty much still is. She is a head taller than most of her friends, and very solid! But hey, right now we are playing softball. She can get that ball from 3rd to 1st, and smack it pretty hard with the bat! Definitely a size advantage!
